Double promotion at Travelworld

Luxury motorhome dealership Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld has announced a double promotion as it continues to grow and invest in its people.

Nick Barker has been rewarded for 10 years of service by being promoted from Sales Manager to Sales Director.

Jake Macquarie, meanwhile, has been elevated from Sales Controller to Sales Manager after 14 years with Stafford-based Travelworld, starting out in the valeting department.

Ross Edwards, Managing Director of Travelworld, praised the pair for their dedication to excellent customer service.

He said: “A huge congratulations to Nick and Jake on their promotions, which they both richly deserve.

“Nick and Jake both go the extra mile to ensure their customers have the very best service, drawing on their years of experience and knowledge.

Jake is the grandson of Travelworld founder Bob Edwards and the nephew of MD Ross.

He has worked his way from the valet department and through the sales department to achieve his new position.

“There are fantastic opportunities to progress and learn new skills – and that is partly why so many of the team have stayed with the business for a significant amount of time.”
