Just Go T 7055 DBL Review

Perfectly compact, the new-for-2023 Dethleffs Just Go T 7055 DBL is the ideal motorhome for a family with wanderlust.

Built on the Ford Transit, this semi-integrated motorhome is a great option for a newcomer or for the discerning driver looking for a solid vehicle at a good price. The standard provides a great offer, but you can also upgrade the spec with the Comfort Package, which gives you just a bit more to enjoy.

Part of the Just Go portfolio of motorhomes, the T 7055 DBL is 7.36m long and features a 2.0L 160 bhp Euro VI-E engine. With 6G automatic transmission, 16-inch black alloy wheels and advanced assistance systems, it is a smart choice of vehicle.

It doesn’t just look good, either; driving is a dream. Boasting excellent visibility, it has a dashboard like a car and the driving position is comfortable.

Inside, you’ll find 2.13m interior height, giving even those over six-feet tall enough head room, and a skylight provides additional welcome natural daylight.

The designers have worked hard to make sure every square centimetre works. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen that comes with a two-burner hob, 137-litre fridge-freezer, worktop space and plenty of storage for cooking utensils and food. An integrated rubbish bin is convenient, while the Multiflex system allows you to add extras such as shelving or a kitchen roll holder.

The separate shower and toilet with handbasin are on opposite sites of the aisle, between the kitchen and bedroom. There are cupboards and shelving for all your toiletries and cleaning products, plus a mirror. Privacy is guaranteed thanks to the toilet door that swings to close off the bedroom and bathroom areas from the rest of the living space.

As a four-berth motorhome, you’ll find a comfortable double bed (with 150mm-thick cold foam mattress) at the rear, with wardrobes and overhead cupboards providing generous space for clothing. There’s also an optional pull-down bed.

The T 7055 DBL has a face-to-face seating area that can be converted into a bed and it is fitted with modern, light wood cupboards, grey upholstered seating with contrasting blue cushions, and a large table that folds in half to allow easy access through the cabin.

With a fresh water tank that holds 105 litres, a waste water tank with 95-litre capacity, and a 95 Ah AGM on-board battery, plus capacity to store two 11-kilo bottles of gas, you can enjoy a few days away without worry. Luggage storage is not a problem: the rear has garage doors on either side with non-slip flooring, a light and access to the water tanks.
