Electric Vehicle Chargers at Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld

At Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld, we have introduced electric vehicle chargers at our sales centre for customers to use as part of a drive to further reduce our environmental impact.

Our Stafford showroom now has 12 new electric charging points. Four of these will offer customers the opportunity to charge their vehicles via the Monta app whilst reducing traditional fuel consumption.

The remainder will be used by our staff to further reduce our environmental footprint after recently extended our fleet of leased staff company cars to include a high proportion of full electric and hybrid vehicles.

As a family-owned business, environmental responsibility is at the heart of everything we do. When relocating from our Telford premises in 2019, we built our sales centre with sustainability in mind, incorporating energy-saving technology such as solar panels, LED lighting and motion sensors.

Our site also runs on a 100% renewable wood pellet burning system. The biomass renewable energy system heats the entire site and uses 95% less CO₂ per 1,000 kWh of energy than gas heating.
