Travelworld help staff get away with pool motorhome

One of the country’s leading motorhome dealerships is helping its staff get away for a much-needed break this summer by purchasing a luxury vehicle for them to use.

With foreign holidays still in doubt, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld has purchased a HYMER T-Class S 685 as a pool motorhome for its employees to use.

It means the Stafford dealership now has two motorhomes for its 68 staff to utilise for adventures. The other vehicle on offer is a Carado I447.

Ross Edwards, managing director of Travelworld, said: “As perks go, I think the use of a top-class, luxury motorhome is pretty good.

“The Carado I447 has been available to staff for a number of years and has been very popular, so we thought we’d reward our employees for their hard work and dedication over the last 12 months by adding another vehicle for them to book.

“Everyone needs a holiday and, with trips abroad looking doubtful at best, and the domestic holiday market seeing unprecedented demand, these pool motorhomes will give our staff the chance to explore Britain with their families in a safe and exciting way and at no cost.”

Despite not being able to open its impressive showroom this year due to the restrictions, Travelworld staff have been very busy dealing with new and existing customers.

January and February were close to be record-breaking months in terms of sales – and March has been buoyant, too.

Ross added: “Our staff are what makes Travelworld special. These have been difficult times where everyone has had to adapt to a different way of working – and they’ve done remarkably well.”

The HYMER T-Class S 685 features a face-to-face seating area, two rear single beds and an electric drop down double bed.

The Carado I447, meanwhile, has stylish interior and exterior designs with rear single beds and an added drop down bed over the cab area.
