Around The British isles In A Motorhome – Warwickshire

Warwickshire is a hugely historic and popular area of the UK. Here, you can find a heady mixture of castles, cathedrals and abbeys, along with an injection of magic and myth for all the family and all within close proximity to London.

There are lots of arts and theatre attractions in the area of Warwickshire. This includes the Albany Theatre which features live shows and comedy and the Belgrade Theatre and the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum.

There is also a range of family attractions, including, the Georgian Walled Garden of Allesley Park; 12th century Charlecote Park with extensive woodland gardens and walks; as well as Draycote Water and Country Park, where there are watersports, wetlands and bird hides, all set in the heart of the county.

This site in Sutton Coldfield has many facilities including; electric hook ups, hard standing pitches; internet access; kids playground; toilet block; showers; laundry services and washing up facilities. Dogs are permitted on this site and within one mile, there are bars and restaurants and transport links.

This site is home to more than 30 lakes and pools, a children’s farm, play areas, walking paths and open space; perfect for the family. There is also bird watching, fishing, horse riding and cycling activities. For more serious outdoor pursuits, visitors can go to the Outdoor Education Centre where they can learn to abseil, canoe and climb.

Close by to this site there are a number of different attractions including Tamworth’s Snowdome with ski slope; Lichfield Cathedral; shopping in Tamworth town centre and the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter.

On this site, which is open all year, facilities include showers; electric hook ups; toilet blocks and chemical disposal. Nearby you can find shops, bars and restaurants and fishing within a one mile distance and within around 10 miles, there is golfing, horse riding and indoor and outdoor swimming.

The site is situated in the countryside and is next to where historic Gopsall Hall used to be. Attractions close by include; Bosworth Battlefield; Twycross Zoo; Snibston Discovery Park; Shackerstone Railway.

This site is an adults only site and is open 365 days a year. There are hard standing pitches, electric hook ups, disabled facilities, showers and a toilet block, chemical disposal; laundry and internet access. Within around one mile there are shops, restaurants and bars as well as outdoor swimming, fishing, golf and transport links.

The site is situated around one mile from the Meriden and has a five star grading. You can order Indian and Chinese takeaways direct to the park and there is a golf centre with a floodlit driving range also close by. Within a few miles, you will find the NEC and you are just 12 miles from Birmingham and Cadburys World, National Sea Life Centre.
