This collection includes ducks, Japanese crane, geese and flamingos. The onsite shop sells a wide variety of gifts including artefacts and toys. The museum is home to a rare collection of vintage bicycles, cars and motorcycles. These cars are privately owned which means that the exhibition is constantly changing. There is a miniature railway with regular services with a range of steam, electric and diesel trains. This museum has plenty on offer and it’s possible to spend a whole day here when it’s raining.

The Old Police Cells Museum

The old police cells museum is a great day out when it’s raining. These police cells were condemned in 1929 and they were opened as a museum in 2005. In 1844 a Chief Constable called Henry Solomon was bludgeoned to death in front of witnesses by a petty criminal in his own office. Over the years that these cells were used they housed many infamous felons.
