Riverside Country Park

South Road, Wooler, Northumberland, NE71 6NJ

Open all year round and situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, close the banks of the Wooler Water, Riverside Country Park offers a friendly, well-maintained site that offers amenities for the whole family to enjoy. Taking a walk along the riverbank or the nearby 80 acre wood, trying your hand at fly-fishing, swimming in the indoor pool and Jacuzzi, or having a few rounds of pool in the games room, there is always something to do. The park is furnished with basic amenities including a lounge bar and restaurant if cooking is off the agenda, free Wi-Fi, a shop, launderette and children’s play area.

Border Forest Holiday Park

Cottonshopeburnfoot, Otterburn, Northumberland, NE19 1TF

With enough space for two motorhomes to pitch, Border Forest Holiday Park has direct access onto the Pennine Way and into the Kielder Forest, using the park’s bridge to cross over the ‘burn’. Border Forest Holiday Park is a dog-friendly park, and home to plenty of friends to meet, including three Kunekune pigs, two Shetland ponies, a Labradoodle, Giant Schnauzer and a cockerel and hens. The park has basic amenities but does not have a shop or club.

Haggerston Castle Holiday Park

Beal, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland TD15 2PA

With space for 60 motorhomes, Haggerston Castle Holiday Park is one to look at if you want to meet other motorhome enthusiasts. The park is within the grounds of Haggerston Castle which include walled Italianate gardens, leafy woodland, seven lakes and a spa. The park is furnished with lots of outdoor activities, including a high ropes course, climbing wall, nine hole golf course, boating, swimming, all weather bowling green, archery and horseback riding. The park has all basic motorhome amenities and additionally has a number of restaurant options on site.
