Anyone who has seen the Venture S from HYMER will

not be surprised to learn this new eye-catching vehicle has won Motorhome of the Year category at the Motorhome Awards 2023.

Announced at the Motorhome & Caravan Show at Birmingham’s NEC, judges said the Venture S stood “head and shoulders above the rest”.

Rachel Stothert, awards judge and Deputy Editor MMM, said the HYMER is “jam-packed with innovative, unique features, topped off by an über-stylish interior and sub-cool exterior look.”

Daniel Attwood, Managing Editor MMM, meanwhile, said buyers can “look forward to a world of adventures in one of the most unique, desirable and remarkable motorhomes ever to be launched.”

The Venture S was also crowned champion in the Best Motorhome Innovation category with judges remarking on the “true staircase that leads to the generous instant loft upstairs bedroom… curved glass around the rear lounge to create an infinity screen… a solid bamboo tabletop that slides away under the seats… two sanitary rooms in one, via an expanding wall… a home office area… a walk-on sundeck…”

We have certainly been impressed with the first-class specification of this remarkable new 4×4 off-roader, with high standards of comfort and imaginative design.

The Venture S caused a stir with motorhome fans when it was unveiled at the Motorhome & Caravan Show – and we’re looking forward to letting more people get a close look at the vehicle when the first one arrives in the Travelworld showroom in the early part of next year.

The Venture S has a pop-top roof, which fully inflates in less than three minutes, while a staircase leads to a luxurious loft sleeping area, complete with four layers of insulation and heating.

The surprisingly spacious living area has panoramic views, with deluxe kitchen featuring a multi-functional wall, and a luxurious bathroom that can be extended to include a floor-level shower. There’s also a fabulous home-office with integrated workstation.

Outside there are three 115W solar panels, which combine the HYMER Smart Battery System 2.0 with up to 320Ah lithium battery capacity, providing up to 10 days of self-sufficient touring.

The Venture S has a Mercedes-Benz base and all-wheel drive, and measures just 6.46m long and a compact 2.16m wide. It comes with a 190bhp engine as standard and is available in Stone Grey or Sea Blue Metallic. The Raptor paint, developed by BASF, is particularly resistant to chips, making it strong and resilient for any off-road adventure.
