Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld offers a comprehensive range of after sales services & products.
Two technicians from Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld travelled to Germany last month for a dealer training event where they were coached on a new diagnostic system to improve servicing performance.
The technicians were shown a number of new innovations, including the new CAN communication system which is being introduced to Hymer vehicles in 2015.
Erik Baxendale, Service Centre Manager at Travelworld said: “CAN communication systems are digital and give technicians greater scope to diagnose faults and make it easier to add additional features to the vehicle such as additional electrical sockets or TVs.”
He added: “A significant investment has been made by Travelworld in computer equipment and training for the new system, allowing Travelworld to lead the way in the U.K on CAN communication in Hymer Motorhomes.”
The delegates were also treated to a tour of the Hymer factory and the Erwin Hymer Museum. The museum holds vehicles and memorabilia from Camping days of old. Lots of Motorhomes, Caravans & classic tow vehicles are on display (including a classic Lamborghini).

The visitors attended the Stuttgart Caravan Show, South Germany’s biggest caravanning and motorhome show. The event played host to around 24,000 visitors and exhibitors were present from 90 different countries.
