Derbyshire Campsites

There are many different campsites accessible for motorhomes that are available in the Derbyshire area. We have listed three below:

Upperhurst Farm

Hartington, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 0HH

Close to the village of Hartington, this family-run, 30 acre site was opened in 2012 and contains both grass and hard-standing pitches. Centrally located but still with beautiful views over the Peak District makes this site very popular.

Facilities on the site include: toilets and showers with under floor heating, laundry services, internet access, electric hook ups and disabled facilities. Within a mile’s distance there are shops, restaurants and local transport links.

Attractions close to the site include: Chatsworth House, High Peak Trail, Buxton Opera House, Matlock Farm and Dovedale.

Conkers Camping and Caravanning Club Site

50 Bath Lane, Moira, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE12 6BD

This site is open all year round and is set in the National Forest. It has electric hook ups, hard standing pitches, gas refills, internet access, laundry facilities and a shower and toilet block. Dogs are also permitted on this site. Within five miles there are bars and restaurants available.

Newhaven Caravan and Camping Park, Newhaven. Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 0DT. This site has hard standing pitches and electric hook ups. Dogs are permitted and there is a shower and toilet block, laundry facilities, a children’s play area, a shop and a games room.

Within a mile there are bars and restaurants and within five miles there are horse riding activities available as well as cycling and boating. Further afield there are gold courses also.

Nearby attractions include: potholing and caving activities; walking on the Tissington and High Peak trails and Gullivers Kingdom amusement park at Matlock Bath. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are also within an easy distance.
