If you’re keen to try your hand at towing your caravan then you’re in luck. This year Hyundai have teamed up with The Camping and Caravanning Club so that visitors can experience 15 minute taster sessions and learn how to professionally and safely tow and hitch up their caravans.

Those wishing to take part must be over 25 years old and also must have a full driving licence with them. These taster sessions are called ‘The Towing Experience’ and you can book them at the event.

If you’re looking to build your confidence with manoeuvring your motorhome then again, at this year’s Caravan and Motorhome Show you’ll have experts on hand who can show you the ropes, or help you to improve your manoeuvring skills.

There will also be a host of celebrity and expert speakers and even some celebrities gracing the stage to share their experiences with the audience. Last year’s celebrity and expert speakers included Monty Halls and Julia Bradbury, the president of the Caravan and Camping Club who talked about her latest TV show. You can be sure this year’s speakers and celebrities will be equally as entertaining and interesting.

For the younger visitors there will be ‘My First Tow Experience’ where those aged between 3 and 10 years old will be able to hook up their vehicle and tow a caravan around the purpose built track at the event.

When hunger kicks in, show attendees can visit The Food and Travel Stage to watch live cookery demonstrations and recount tales from their many travelling adventures.

Over 300 exhibitors will be at the event. The show is being held at Event City, Phoenix Way, Off Barton Dock Road, Manchester, M17 8AS. The show opens at 16th January 2020 and closes on 19th January 2020.

There will also be free entry for visitors to the co-located show which is next door; the Holiday and Travel Show.

There will be free car parking at the event, in the grounds of Manchester’s Event City.

There will be a free show guide available for attendees.
